Ok so the girl in my book just became a Privateer, so I wanted to look like one for the evening. I made this tricorn hat a few years ago for a Pirates of the Caribbean party. Aarrrgggg :]
Mom and I ordered the King Kong Meats Pizza from Papa Johns for Survivor night.
After our little party I attacked a pair of old pants that didn't fit. I had a great idea that would make me want to wear them again. That and I just wanted to do an art project. I'll post them when I am finished with them.

I went to lunch at M13 with Katie today. I hung out at Zoo-school in the afternoon, seeing the awe in the eyes of the high schoolers when they hear that I already have my degree and I am only 20.

Mollie and I hung out today. We went looking for mangos. Everyone said they would have them in next week. She cooked me some tofu asparagus stir-fry. It was awesome. I am completely engulfed in my book. I read 260 pages last night.

Today I found out that M13,
(my Favorite place in Lincoln, NE)
is closing at the end of the week.
Kari and I went there for lunch today and had soup/sandwich combos. It was kinda dreary out, and our moods were too.
We came back to my place and messed around on the computer for a while.
I started reading Under the Jolly Roger by L.A. Meyer, today. It is the third in a series about Mary "Jacky" Faber.
OH yeah-> These are my hakusame pants that I made in high school. I just had the idea tonight to tie them about my knees. Mom says I look like a golfer, I think they kinda resemble Heishiro Mitsurugi's pants from Soul Calibur.

I gave a massage today.
Then I got together with Mollie and Steve and a handfull of Mollie's friends to play Taboo, make cherry pie and coffee, and watch the pilot of Twin Peaks.
I finally fixed my "V is for..." shirt. It was a small but it was still too big, now it fits. I think I will wear it to V for Vendetta.

I got up around noon and watched ID4 with the comentary, so I could put it in the mail today. I ran a few errands and got the Hulk from Blockbuster around 6 or 7pm, and watched it while doing some art.
This is the finished piece. I have been thinking a lot lately about my friendships. I decided to map them. A few of them got obscured in the photo but they are there all the same.

I slept late today. Really late.
I ran errands.
Mom and I went to Failure to Launch, which was really good. I recomend it.
This evening I went over to Ryan's to hang out and play cards and whatnot. I was the DD, as always.

This morning Dusty and I both woke up around 7:30 (considering I crashed on the couch and he had passed out around 11:30pm in his easy-chair). Paul slept late. Really late. Dusty and I watched The Fantastic 4 and X2, while freaking out about wanting to watch X3. Paul got up around the middle of X2 and began to pack to go back to CA today. Both Dusty and I collapsed into Nap/Comas near the end of the movie. We woke to some anime, during which we decided where we should get some food. We went to Runza. Paul had never had a Runza, or had even heard of one before. He was so excited about the snow. He had never seen so much snow. It's funny how much you take for granted, stuff that you just know by living in Nebraska.

Today I slept alot. Around 6pm my cousin Paul Jr. and I were planning to hang out, but we were in the middle of a blizzard, so the chances looked low. We decided that driving was too dangerous in those conditions, so I insisted that I just walk over. I must have been out of my mind, but I put on all my snow gear and walked the 7 or 8 blocks to Dusty's house where he was staying. It was the best time! We talked about EVERYTHING, watched a bunch of movies and ordered Jimmy-Johns. Dusty and I totally geeked out talking about comics and star wars and collecting stuff and everything. I ended up crashing there for the night (I didn't really want to walk back in the snow). Dusty got me into reading Wicked, and I read it till about 4:20am while they slept.

Today was a challenge.
I had my first Class of Extended Education today at Mahoney. Lani and I drove up there for class at 8am. I was tired, but it was good.
This photo reminds me of this movie we watched in sociology in high school called Tough Guise. It was about the front that people put on in society that hides their real feelings in order to fit into the norm. One face shows the true feeling and the other is just there to make sure you don't get hit with a sanction.
It is snowing like nothing else.

This was taken when it was still mentally St. Pattie's day, at a party. Like I said before, I just love being the only one sober at these parties. It lets me think about the whole thing as a Sociological Experiment, and I get to laugh at all those getting shit-faced; Plus if I play any games I have all my wits about me (I like winning). :]
This is Stew (left), me, and Ryan (right). Nice guys. Stew's outfit was true to the occation, Full Kilt and all the trimmings. It was sweet.
All I am doing for the rest of the day is sleeping, and one massage.

St. Pattie's day, for me consisted of hanging out with my awesome best friend Kari. We went to the library, to the park, and we watched semi-scary-but-mostly-crappy movies on the AMC channel at her place.
I busted out the green in several places: one of my favorite shirts, one of my favorite bracelets, but my personal fave: The color my finger turns when ever I wear the ring my grandparents Baught me in Branson, MO.

Today I got up a little late. I had a 3:00pm appointment on the south side of town and I almost didn't wake up on time, if that gives you any idea. After my appointment I met Ben, Susan and Steve at Southpoint. We hung out at Barns&Noble until Kari called. I picked up Kari and we all went to Hu Hot for dinner. I Love Hu Hot.After dinner we went to the Libertine at the Grand downtown. The movie got out around Midnight so I took everyone to their homes, but I didn't go back to mine. :]
I went and hung out with Stew at his place. We ended up watching the Boondock Saints (the perfect movie to watch on St. Pattie's).

Ben, Susan, and Steve came to town today. I didn't know until about an hour before they got here that they were actually comming. We ended up going to gateway mall for a while, and then Fazolies for dinner. We met up with Stew for the 9:30pm showing of the Ringer at the starship 9. Ben, Susan, Steve and I went for a very long walk around the Irvingdale neighborhood before turning in. I went home to to some prep-work for my job (i.e. Laundry).

I got my hair cut today! This is Cassie, my hairdresser. She is awesome!
I went to M13 today for brunch/lunch. They make the Sandwich equivalent of one of my massages, they are that good.
I came home and watched a movie and took a long nap.

Today rocked! I made new friends. Shayna and her Boyfriend and her friend from college, among other people, and I were going to go to a movie, but that fell through. We ended up just hanging out all day and then went to a party in the evening that lasted till we left at 3:45am (3/12/06). My new Friend Stew asked me if I was a gamer around 12:30am.
I said "yeah, but mostly old school stuff." pause, "what game did you have in mind?"
"Soul Calibur III"
"Hell Yes! Let's do this thing!" I reply enthusiastically
I hadn't played Soul Calibur in about 8 years, and that had been on a dreamcast. I picked it back up quick though, just like riding a bike. 4 of us ended up playing till the end of the party. It was freaking awesome!
It was a wild ride.
Speaking of which, I also learned how to drive an Explorer tonight. I am so proud.

Today I got up at 3pm. I think it set the tone for the whole day. Lani and I grabbed some Arbie's (because we had little red floating hats above our heads) and a movie. I came home after the movie and decided to go for a walk, durring which, I talked to my friend Shayna on my cell. She invited me to a party. Woot! I got to the party around midnight. I do love a good party. Especially when I am pretty much the only one sober there, and if that wasn't fun enough, try being asked by drunken men for a massage. Note to all you Massage Therapists out there, don't let it slip that you are an LMT at a party, they will try to get you to work. After a while we went to the Hiway Diner for some breakfast. It was good. Thanx Sha for the pie.

Today I went over to Matt's house to hang out and what-not. When I came home I went on a cleaning rampage. I did laundry and organized the bathroom cabinet and did a few dishes. I taped survivor and CSI for mom because she was doing parent teacher confrences. We watched the tape whe she got home, and ate summer sausage and cheese on crackers for dinner. It was a decent day.

Today I got up at 7 and worked. I did seated chair massages at Everett for 9 hours. My feet are sore but it was worth it, building my Massage Empire...um...buisness.
I came home, Made Pancakes and just zonked into a coma of exaustion. Woke up in the kitchen around 7:00pm and layed on the couch for a few more hours.

I didn't do anything productive today. I got up. I ate Indian food. Wound up Burning my right index knuckle on the oven while retrieving some Naan. I went to Ultraviolet with Kari. Went to Blockbuster with mom, and ate chocolate while watching Chocolat. But hey, what does it matter? It's a Saturday.
Did anyone else have an unproductive Saturday?

Today I went to Walt-branch Library. It is Dr.Seuss' Birthday, so they had people there from Joseph's doing hair. Whitney (who was in operation smart with me in 6th grade) curled my hair and sprayed the ends purple. you can't really tell in the photo but it was cool.
Plus today is Thursday, and that means Survivor Nite!!! Woot!
My mom and I are survivor nuts. (If you couldn't alredy tell. lol)

Today it got up to 75*F. It was so beautiful, I had to take advantage of it. I went to the 14th floor of the Capital to look out on the city. Then I found a Hack circle just to the east of the capital building and joined in. From there I headed north towards UNL. On the way I did a change of address at the state building. I ran into a guy playing hack outside of the cultural building and joined him for a bit of a hack. When he went to class I started back toward my car, but ran into my good friend Mollie. We walked to a grassy spot on campus and took a seat. After a while, I walked back to my car and went to mom's. I went to Kari's in the evening for project runway. I love doing impresions of Santino doing impressions of Tim. lol.
This Boondock Saints shirt was a small but I form-fitted it anyway. I think it goes well with my lemon-days skirt and Half-pants. (I invented half-pants. They are shorts that can be worn with sneakers. It makes the sneakers look like boots, and makes shorts not look stupid on me.)
