I got the apartment! Woot!
I took over the check for the deposit this afternoon.
I did some more laundry and dishes.
Mom found some great garage sale finds. One being this shirt. I think it looks great. Thanx mom.
We watched some movies (Grosse Point Blank & a Midsummer Night’s Dream) while I did her nails and tried out some new fashion.
I think I will watch the Matrix and do some more dishes before I enter the portal that makes today feel like yesterday and tomorrow feel like today.

I spent much of today with the triple threat (Katie, Kari and I). Katie came over after school so I could do her nails for prom. Kari came over after her class as well. Kari had never played a video game before except for one lonely game on a Sega game gear, so I let her try her luck at Top Gear. She soon found how addicting it is. I made us some dinner before we embarked on an adventure. We went to Gateway Mall. Katie needed some last minute things for prom. We cut the evening short around 9pm.
I watched Shop Girl again and did some laundry.
I tried to sleep for a while, but ended up doing some dishes till 3.
It was rainy again today.

I did steps in securing my very own apartment today. I got the paperwork and did a tour, and I feel I have a very good chance of getting the one I want.
I worked my CWDC job today.
Mom made Mean Salads for us to eat during Survivor. They would shout insults every time we would stab them with a fork. lol
I finished one of my black Wolverine Wristies. I think I will start the other this evening. I want to get them done so I can wear them to the opening of X3.

I gave a massage and started my other job as a Creative Window Design Consultant today. Mom and I grilled out for dinner: Hot dogs and Smores.
I went over to Lani's around 8:30 to hang out.
I made a wind chime (pictured) out of bottle caps, a can of black cherry vanilla diet coke and wire.

I went to lunch with Katie today. We had Jimmy-Johns. I had a mad jonzin' for a lulu. It gave me a chance to give Katie her birthday gift, an Urban Dictionary.
It was cold, rainy and dreary out today.
It put me and everyone I know into a blue funk. I am trying to get this apartment over on C Street, and I am fretting about it a bit much.
I went to Mollie's around 3. She cheered me up like only she can. We watched Amelie. I think every girl who sees Amelie, wants to be her at one point.
I met Katie and Kari at Lee Booksellers to meet the author of Stitch and Bitch. It was great. She is so funny.
I rented Shopgirl. I should have bought it. Mom and I watched it.
Today turned out ok near the end.

This photo was taken in the early am of 4.23.06 while still at Katie's b-day extravaganza. Around 3am we watched the Fifth Element, and then caught some Zs.
We had Katie's fav breakfast of French toast casserole, it was delish.
I went home around noon to recoup. I watched I Huckabees, cleaned my room and took a nap.
I went to the Scotsman's to watch Queen of the Damned and Scar Face. It was great. I hadn't seen either of them before.

Today was Katie's B-day party extravaganza! We all (Kari and I) met at Katie’s house around 6pm, and I managed to forget my gift. We listened to Music, talked about stuff, and ate food. A little later we did a spa hour, where we exfoliated our hands and feet, and I gave pedicures. Kari made the best Chocolate mint pudding cakes for us. They were to die for.

I got Top Gear for SNES today. Kent, Greg and I had a bit of an ordeal trying to get it, but now the game from my childhood is back in my hands.
Kari and I went to the UNL Textiles runway show at the student union. It rocked! Kari and I have been into clothing design since forever.
When I was walking back to my car, I ran into Mollie. She invited me over for some diner (which was delish) and we hung out talking and drawing till midnight.
I came home to play some more Top Gear.

I got up, gave a massage, went home and watched Star Wars: Clone Wars (the animated series) as well as Star Wars Episode III, and Survivor. I spent a lot of time writing about stuff, talking on the phone and doing some dishes.

Kent and I watched Domino this afternoon. I really enjoyed it, and recommend it to anyone who likes action flicks that involve a strong female character with lots of guns.
I went over to Lani's to help her study for her board exam. It is amazing how quickly information disappears from your brain.
I cleaned my room a bit, and did some laundry. I had Jimmy-Johns for dinner, so that’s a plus. I wore my sidewaze pants and my space jacket today.

I watched Not Another Teen Movie with my mom, and part of Domino with Kent.
uh... I made the sleeves of this shirt.
I like how the fence becomes a part of my outfit.
Kent and I hung out this evening. We got some IBC Rootbeer, Strawberry Crush, and Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke at Mall-Wart. It was the only place open.

Today I got copies of my house and car keys at Ace Hardware. Kent and I ran errands before going over to Brandon's place to hang out for a few hours. We watched Fun With Dick And Jane and Rumor Has It. Kent and I went back to my place to get some grub and watch Not Another Teen Movie. It was great.

We stopped doing the whole Easter deal a long time ago, meaning all the eggs and cards and stuff (Except doing artsy Ukrainian-style eggs; which can be done any time). I went to Andreas's house for an Easter banquet at noon. It was exquisite. Mom was in Grand Island with our adoptive family (Kathryn Decker, who I am named after, her fam). Around 4, I went home and ended up digging out the old NES. I played all our old games: Tetris, Burger Time, Castlevania, etc.
Kent, Greg and I went to Thank You for Smoking at the Grand, courtesy of Kent's mom. I just love that movie.

Today was a family holiday, Black Sabbath (the day between Good Friday and Easter). It is tradition to do things as a family like going to the old market for dinner and shopping, a movie, or to the art museum. Mom and I wound up going to Lazlo’s in the Haymarket for burgers and spin dip, and then to the Grand to see Thank You For Smoking. It was great! I recommend it.
Kari and Andreas surprised me by showing up on my doorstep to go hang out after the movie. We drove around and went to Barns&Noble. Somewhere I lost my keys. I still can’t find them. This is the first time I have lost my keys in about 12 years. Oh well. I have copies.
Kent came over late to hang out.
It was a good day minus losing my keys. I think I’ll call around on Monday to see if they have turned up.

Today Kari, Andreas and I hung out again. Andreas’s dad grilled some nice sausages for dinner, before the three of us went to V for Vendetta. It was awesome! Afterwards we just hung out talking and whatnot. I came home late, made a salad and watched Grosse Point Blank. I love that movie.
It really was a “Good Friday” lol.
This is me just chillaxin'. I cropped it, solarized it, "old photo"-ed it, then made it a negative and messed with the shade to make it look this way.

Andreas, Kari and I got to hang out today! w00t! We made spaghetti and meatballs for lunch before going to the zoo school to visit old professors. We hung out at Andreas's house till around 5:30 when Kari went home. Andreas and I went to the sneak showing of American Dreamz (which was Awesome, by the way). They gave us t-shirts. Mine says "Are You Sure That's Dignified?" lol.
By the end of the movie we were hungry again, so we walked back to the car and headed down O Street toward Taco Bell, when who do I see? None other than Stew hanging out with his bike at 17th and O. I parked my car and we went over to say hey. After a quick convo about what bike was in iRobot, we went to Taco Bell, and then went for a walk.
Today was a good day. What day where you get to hang out with friends and get a free t-shirt isn't a good day?

I got up early today so I could go to the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha with the Everett Montessori. This was the first Field Trip I've gone on where I wasn't one of the kids. I had a flock. We were the "oranges" because all of our name tags were written in orange. I had Eliza, Zoë, Christian (pictured here), Carlie, Chloe, and Riley. We were scheduled to see the Castle Exhibit as well as the Illuminating the Word. It went really well. Christian, Zoë and I sat together on the bus. I told them "Let's Pretend" stories to make the drive go faster.
When I got home I crashed and slept till 9:30. I got up for a while but didn't go to bed much after midnight for a change. lol.

I went to the Zoo today to have lunch with Katie. She gave me a bag of assorted lipgloss..es.....er...They Rock!
I watched Walk the Line for the first time this afternoon. It was great. I recomend it.

I gave my mom a massage today. It had been too long since the last one.
I busted out my jean skirt today because I was out of shorts. (so I did some Laundry)
I caught the sunset.
It was beautiful out today.
I went for a walk around midnight. When I got back home I decided to jump in the car and get some Ranch dressing for the mean salad mom whipped up earlier today. I turned on some tunes and pulled out and around the corner and got half way down the block when a thought came to me: "Hey lights would be good." So I turned them on and made the corner onto 33rd, just to see some flashing lights behind me. I pulled over, pulled out my ID and stuff, and waited for the cop to approach my window. Apparently he thought I had boosted my own car. He said there had been a lot of lifts in this neighborhood lately and let me go. I am so glad he pulled me over. It makes me hope that if my car was actually stolen it would be returned to me that quickly.
mom makes a mean salad. mmmmmmmmmm.

Today I hung out with the Triple Threat (Kari and Katie and I). We had dinner at Kari's house, and then went out shopping at Blockbuster and Barns&Noble. The Scotsman txt me around midnight to rematch some Soul Caliber III. We ended up watching 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Today had a lot in store for me. I woke around 3 to go to Dusty's to watch Narnia and eat Jimmy-Johns. mmmmmmmmmm.
Around 6pm I had to dash home to make myself pretty for a business banquet with Kent. I was overdressed, in my red dress, but I don't care. Afterwards we went to Brandon's place so I could change and so that we could hang. It was fun.

I didn't do anything today but sleep, and watch movies and talk to friends and get geared up to go out (because it is a Friday night and It is freaking tradition) but it didn't happen. I ended up staying in watching Boondock Saints, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

Today I took about 15 photos on my digital; one of them was a rain shadow. I was lying in my hammock when the storm hit us, and in the chaos of wrapping up the hammock my digital ejected its batteries, completely obliterating my photos.
Kent and I hung out the rest of the afternoon swapping jokes and stories.
My rain shadow photo would have looked much like this one I did last year. I know I am not in it but I was just a few seconds before.

It was a nice 77*F Spring Day today so I spent it as such. I set up my Hamock and layed in it while talking on the phone for a few hours. I hung out in my darkroom again, and ended up going for a walk with an old friend from highschool (He gave me this flower on our walk). I forgot how much I laugh around him.

I did lots today, despite the allegations that I wouldn't do anything. I made my first payment towards paying off my student loans, for one. I got my car's oil changed, got groceries, bought knitting needles, among other errands. Mom and I watched the English Patient this evening after a trip to Pier-one. I always seem to feel better about myself after I get some things accomplished.
The chair in this photo is from the Pier-one catalog. I want this chair so much! I can't afford it though.
I am going to file it in my mental picture of my dream apartment.

Katie woke me at 11:30 this morning so we could go shopping. I was dead tired all day. We met Kari at the mall and found some good stuff. I don't know what time I got home but I just crashed on the couch till mom got home from Omaha with a new toy she wanted me to test drive. It consists of a deck of cardboard rectangles and squares that lock into each other, each bearing the likeness of a different part of a castle. The point is to make a castle. It is pretty cool.
After I finished this castle I zonked again and didn't wake up till 2am (which is around now).
It won't feel like tomorrow till I sleep again.

I slept late today. When I did get up, I watched some movies, talked to some friends, CLEANED the Shower and the Bathroom floor as well as vacuuming the living room rug. Around 9pm I went to Faye’s for a party. It rocked. We watched a few movies, played some cards, and some people ended up running around in the rain. It was a good time. I just got home and it is 4am. I hope everyone had a good April Fools Day.

I did a lot today considering I got little to no sleep last night due to finishing Under the Jolly Roger. Kari and I went to M13 for their Grand Closing, then she came over after her class to watch Howl's Moving Castle in Japanese while I worked on my Pants, which I got done about 10 minutes before Faye calls me to go to V for Vendetta. Woot. It was good. I thought it ended well. I wore my V is for... shirt and my new pants, which turned out awesome by the way. I totally revamped them so that the zipper and front pockets are on the left side and the back pockets are on the right.
After the movie we went back to Faye's dorm to hang out. A few of us ended up going to Ryan's to play P&A.
All in all, it was a good day.
I'm Tired.
